Dr. Carson T. Lo received his medical degree from the UniversIty of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College of Medicine in his native Philippines. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Makati Medical Center, Philippines and also underwent his Internal Medicine residency program at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. In addition, he completed his fellowship in Microbial Pathogenesis & Infectious Disease at the UCLA School of Medicine.
Dr. Lo established West Houston Infectious Disease Associates in Katy, Texas in October 2002.
Dr. Lo is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Infectious Disease. He is also certified in Tropical and Travel Medicine by the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. His areas of interest include: Diagnosis and treatment of fever, multi-resistant infections, HIV/AIDS, and the problem-solving of diagnostic dilemmas.
He is a member of the following medical organizations: American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, American Society for Microbiology, Infectious Disease Society of America, Houston Infectious Disease Society, Texas Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society.
In his spare time, he delights in cooking new recipes at home with his wife and in exploring new haunts with his children.
